Congratulations to the Byrd Quiz Bowl team who placed 2nd overall in Louisiana at the State Championship on Saturday. (Jesuit of New Orleans took the win in a very close game). The team Captain is Dylan Tynes (overall top individual scorer), Cade Crandall, Von Klotzbach, and Tyler Spivey. These juniors are headed to the National High School Quiz Bowl Tournament in Atlanta May 25-27.We are still seeking sponsors for the team!
